 of the most acclaimed vocalists in the Hindustani (North Indian) music tra
 dition today. Born into a musical family, Veena Sahasrabuddhe is equally r
 enowned for the depth, power and sheer beauty of her performances of the c
 lassical khyal genre, and for the expression and melodic inventiveness of 
 her devotional bhajans. This is a unique opportunity to hear one of India&
 rsquo;s great musicians.As customary in khyal performances, Sahasrabuddhe
