 na &nbsp;The Medieval and Early Modern Student Association of Durham Unive
 rsity is holding its annual interdisciplinary conference for postgraduates
  and early career researchers and seeks papers on the theme of "Transition
  and Transformation in Medieval and Early Modern Cultures". Attached pleas
 e find the complete call for papers. &nbsp;The conference will also featur
 e a special exhibition of the Durham manuscript collection by Professor Ri
 chard Gameson, to be hosted in Durham Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage S
 ite. This year's Medieval &amp; Early Modern Student Association conferenc
 e will explore the liminal and transformative aspects of the medieval and 
 Early Modern periods in a multidisciplinary forum. We welcome abstracts fr
 om postgraduates and early career researchers working in the fields of arc
 haeology, history, literature, theology, art, music, and culture. Presenta
 tion topics may include, but are not limited to: &nbsp;--Linguistic change
  and textual transformation --The parameters between the terrestrial and t
 he celestial --The historical effects of transition and transformation --A
 ppropriation and evolution in genres of narrative --Fluctuating boundaries
  and perceptions in landscape --Agency and motivation for innovation --(Di
 s)continuities between orthodoxy and heterodoxy --Shifts in material cultu
 re and images of transformation Please send abstracts of no more than 300

 tion for attendance and the conference banquet will be sent in May.
