  Reduction Abstract: The present paper shows that and why a Relational Acc
 ount of perceptual experience is incompatible with a reductive account of 
 the mind in general and of perceptual experience in particular. It conclud
 es that the Relationalist has to hold that perceptual relations are sui ge
 neris relations.
