International Community

The Faculty of Science is a diverse, international community, with staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students coming to Durham from across the globe. Furthermore, the faculty is commited both to enlarging this community, and strenghthening its presence within university. Ladan Cockshut coordinates the faculty's internationalisation activities.

Each Department or School in the Faculty has an International Coordinator who is a point of contact for all international students, both those applying to Durham and those studying here already. They are senior members of staff who help develop the international elements of the Faculty at undergraduate, postgraduate and research level. They are also friendly and approachable people who are very happy to offer help and advice to anyone from overseas interested in joining their department or school.

Faculty staff, including International Coordinators, regularly make visits overseas to meet potential students.
