Biography

After leaving school Dee trained and worked as a Groom at a number of local equestrian centres achieving BHS Stage 3 Grooms Certificate. In 1999 she joined a small accountancy firm in Stokesley as an Office Junior. As well as secretarial work Dee also did manual accounts work and served customers at the agency building society. She left the North East in 2003 and moved to Kent with her fiancé, where she worked for Pfizer (Pharmaceutical Company) as an Expense Assistant. She then moved back to the North East in 2004. Dee joined Durham University in March 2004 as a full time Secretary for Phase I Medicine. Dee now works 4 days a week providing secretarial support to Professor John McLachlan.

In her spare time, Dee enjoys reading, shopping, going to the cinema, horse riding, Zumba, gym and taking her son's swimming.
