Support Administrator in the Mental Health Research Centre

Biography

Charlotte joined the team in January 2011 as a Support Administrator for the Mental Health Research Centre within the School of Medicine and Health. In September 2011 she was appointed as a part-time research assistant funded through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership to pilot a novel risk assessment tool in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. In November 2011, Charlotte undertook another part-time post as a research associate coordinating the Behavioural activation in Obese Youth (BODY) and Mind Trial based in a local school. She has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology from Newcastle University and prior to becoming a member of staff at Queen's Campus she was employed as a Project Worker for a local charity, called Daisy Chain, supporting children with special needs.

In her spare time Charlotte enjoys horse riding, netball, going to the cinema and travelling.  She has travelled extensively around South America and South East Asia.
