Biography

Douglas joined the team at RDS, Department of School of Medicine and Health, Queen's Campus Durham University (based at the Wolfson Research Institute) in November 2008, to provide research design services to the universities of Durham and Newcastle under the leadership of Professor James Mason. His background is in medical statistics, formerly Tenovus Institute for Cancer Research, University of Wales College of Medicine and agricultural statistics, ADAS, Wolverhampton. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Biology and has a number of interests which include community health, endocrinology and chronobiology.

His principal outside interest has been the dissemination of science to the lay public.
