Phase II
Phase II is three years long and provides clinical experience in a wide range of NHS hospital and community settings across the region. You will be registered as a Newcastle University student during this period.

At the end of Phase II, you will receive the MBBS degree from Newcastle University and proceed to provisional registration with the General Medical Council.
The quality of educational experience and training are excellent at both Newcastle and Durham Universities, as judged by external reports in Medicine and Subjects Allied to Medicine. Medicine at Newcastle received an excellent report from the GMC.
