UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT)

UKCAT - UK Clinical Aptitude Test for Medicine and Dentistry

The UKCAT Consortium consists of 26 UK medical and dental schools which require the test to be taken by candidates applying to their medical and dental programmes.  Details of which Universities require the test can be found on our website:  www.ukcat.ac.uk

The test helps universities make more informed choices from amongst the many highly-qualified applicants who apply for their medical and dental programmes.

Candidates are required to take the test in 2013 for entry in 2014, and deferred entry in 2015.

For details of the test including instructions on registration and booking please visit:

The UKCAT has been used in the selection process by a consortium of University Medical and Dental Schools including Durham and Newcastle since the Summer of 2006.
