Stage 2 Student Evaluation
The treatment of chronic illness forms an increasingly large part of the doctor's load in the UK today, particularly in primary care. The Patient Study aims to provide you with the opportunity to observe first hand the impact of chronic illness on a person and on their immediate family and/or carers in the community. It provides a focus for the integration of your learning in Medicine in the Community and other Strands of the medical curriculum in Stage 2 and further enhances your group and team working skills, your communication skills and ethical awareness.
