Centre for Medical Education Research
The Centre for Medical Education Research is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of research and teaching staff located across Durham and Queens Campuses.
Medical Education Research is concerned with the education and training of the clinical team to enhance performance and professionalism, for the benefit of patients and society.
Our vision is specifically to develop research to understand and improve the working of the clinical team in the changing context of healthcare. Our research is informed by a number of perspectives: clinical, patient, social and policy. We aim to identify relevant changes, question the assumptions behind them, and work towards a shared vision and understanding of new directions in healthcare.
The research activity of the Centre falls under a number of themes.
If you are interested in a research collaboration, please contact a member of staff.
