Why do a Postgraduate Programme in the School of Applied Social Sciences?

Durham is home to 3,500 postgraduates from over 130 counties, creating a rich and diverse academic community. As the third oldest university in the UK, Durham is also one of the most stunning cities with its castle and cathedral. There is a high level of support for postgraduates through the colleges and departments both academically and socially. The teaching is directly informed by the world-class research undertaken throughout the University, taught by academics at the forefront of their field nationally and internationally.
