Yacht Racing

Each year Durham takes a team, and more recently two teams, to the Student Nationals which are based in Port Solent. This event is always great fun with more than 20 boats competing against each other. Even if you are not an experienced yacht racer you are still more than welcome to get involved!

We have three days worth of racing and tend to do some training in the proceeding days too. What´s more is that we all sleep on the boats making it a very social and entertaining week. If you take part you will not only have great fun on the water - and hopefully great victories - but also make some great friends!
