Anglo-American Antiquarians and Early Modern Science
A collaborative project between the Universities of Stanford and Brown, this research seeks to explore the antiquarian tradition in its local and historical context, with a special emphasis on its relationship to the discipline of archaeology. The project will identify, gather and make digitally available for study approximately 2000 key works in the antiquarian tradition from Great Britain and the United States.
