Understanding the dynamics of clinico-managerial relationships

A research project of the School of Applied Social Sciences.

Background

This project examines the existing literature on relationships between doctors and managers in front-line roles in health services.

Aims

The project aims to examine the relationship between the contexts of clinico-managerial relationships, the mechanisms of intervention that have been carried out through government policy and through management reform, and the resulting outcomes.

Methods

This is a realistic review of existing literature on clinico-managerial relationships.

Findings

The project began on 1st March 2009, so no findings yet.
