Information Management
The University's Records Management Policy and Strategy has been developed in order to give a formal commitment by the University to effective, efficient and economic records management and to provide a clear direction of travel for future records management activities. It was approved by UEC in June 2009.
The University's Policy on the Management of Information Off-campus has been developed in order to help protect University information taken off-campus, such as during homeworking or whilst travelling. It was approved by UEC in November 2008.
The University's Records Management Policy for Business Emails has been developed in order to help ensure that business emails created and received by the University are managed as records. It was approved by the Registrar in March 2010.
Information Security
The University's Electronic Information Security Policy has been developed in order to help ensure that electronic information held by the University is adequately protected and that staff take responsibility for the security of the electronic information they use. It was approved by ITSG in August 2011.
The University's Password Policy was approved by ITSG in June 2012.
