Farewell Manuela! Our dear colleague and friend Manuela Stets will sadly be leaving us in July 2012 after her three years of working on her PhD in the Durham University Baby Lab. She will join the team of Dr. Bennett Bertenthal at the University Indiana in Bloomington. We wish her the best of luck for this new chapter in her life! |
New Study: 14-month-olds wanted!

| The Baby Lab is pleased to announce that Dr. Vincent Reid has been awarded a Grant by the European Commission starting in 2012. The grant, entitled "Action research: Improving understanding and methodologies in early development," is funded by a Framework 7 Marie Curie International Training Network Action. We are looking forward to two new PhD students joining us in October 2012. |

Moving Labs: In September 2011 we finally moved into our new Baby Lab. The main Laboratory remains in the Wolfson Research Institute Stockton-on-Tees but now consists of two separate rooms. One large room provides more comfort for parents and their children and a separate testing area is now outfitted with an electrically shielded and sound proofed cabin. |

Baby Lab now also in Durham! We also extended our Baby Lab to a second location based in Durham (Durham University-Mountjoy Site) mainly used for studies for master's dissertations but it also enables parents living in Durham to take part without long journeys to our Stockton laboratory. |
