We provide
a forum for discussion through an email network and an annual conference. We
disseminate information about conferences, research projects, research grants
etc. in the field via the web site and a regular newsletter, encouraging interdisciplinary
research by recruiting scholars from other disciplines as members of the group.
We very much welcome comments and suggestions. We appreciate the diversity of
exciting research out there and adopt a very inclusive approach. Members of
the group come from all walks of German Studies, such as Political Thought and
Cultural Politics. We also welcome members who work from an interdisciplinary
