Supporting teaching visits by Durham staff to our Sri Lankan university partners

Alongside academic visits to Sri Lanka for the purposes of research, community outreach and curriculum development, some Durham University staff spend longer periods of time at a Sri Lankan Higher Education Institution in order to teach modules or courses.
Such visits clearly benefit all parties. For some UK staff they provide a first opportunity to teach in a completely different culture. They bring international and inter-cultural dimensions into Durham programmes whilst providing new learning opportunities for Sri Lankan scholars.
