Queen's Campus

Queen's Campus

Located in a striking waterfront setting, our contemporary Queen's Campus is purpose-built to deliver our world-class courses, combining a friendly and vibrant academic community with city living and a wealth of sport, cultural and leisure activities.

Location and facilities

The campus is a short walk away from both Stockton's thriving town centre and a large retail and leisure park, giving you plenty of choice for entertainment venues, cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. In addition, you'll find excellent, state-of-the-art sports, leisure and study facilities on Campus. This includes well-equipped, modern research labs, excellent library resources, a superb new world-class sports centre and beautifully designed new social spaces. There is also easy access to one of the UK's best white water courses, the Tees Barrage. Watch our Queen's Campus film and our film on Stockton to find out more.

Programmes and community

Our range of flagship, Queen's-based study programmes and internationally-recognised research attracts staff and students from the local community and from across the world, creating a very diverse and inclusive community. This is further enhanced by the strong connections and partnerships our staff and students have, particularly with local schools, government and the NHS.

Travel between campuses

In addition to the outstanding student experience enjoyed at Queen's, a regular free bus runs between the Campus and Durham City giving staff and students here easy access to our Durham-based facilities, resources and events.
