Ralph Lindsay Scholarship

The University is delighted to be able to offer a Ralph Lindsay scholarship worth £2,500 per year to a full-time current or prospective student.

The award may be extended up to a maximum period of three years, subject to academic progression on the course. In appropriate cases, the Scholarship may be held in conjunction with another award.

Eligibility

Applicants need to meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Have attended Durham School,

or were born in the dioceses of Durham or Newcastle,

or be able to provide evidence that they are related to the founder, Ralph Lindsay.

Preference is given to candidates wishing to study Classics.
