Grey College occupies a pleasant site close to the science area, the Bill Bryson Library and central Student Support Services within the Palatine Centre. The College is recognised for its strong commitment to academic excellence. It has a growing population of graduate students and good accommodation is provided to a high standard.

Graduate students enjoy membership of the Middle Common Room (MCR) and, by invitation, the Senior Common Room (SCR). Grey has an active Fellowship Scheme that puts graduate students in close contact with leading international academics. The College has excellent recreational and sporting facilities, a library, music rooms and a Chapel. The College actively encourages all of it members to dine together in our Dining Hall. The College Trust may have funds for additional support for graduate students. Some graduate students may also become College Mentors.

We recently introduced a number of dedicated seminars, arranged by the College, in which graduate students discuss and explain their research.

Support

The MCR President presides over the Middle Common Room, liaises with College administration and works with the MCR executive committee to organise social events. Our Postgraduate Tutor works closely with the MCR President overseeing induction arrangements, day-to-day queries and overall continuity between successive years of postgraduates.

Each Postgraduate student at Grey is appointed a Pastoral College Mentor.
