After you have accepted your offer to study at Durham University, you apply for college membership. You can indicate a preferred college, or leave the college choice open. If your first choice college is not able to offer you membership, your application will be sent to another college, or if you don't specify a college, a college will be chosen for you.

Since all students are members of a college, if you don't complete the Postgraduate College Membership & Accommodation Form, we will allocate you to a college. You may not be able to transfer to another college after you have been allocated a college, so we recommend you complete the Postgraduate College Membership & Accommodation Form as soon as possible.
