Registration
Registration arrangements for June 2013
The schedules of events for module registration for Physics in 2013/14 are available at
First year undergraduate students are expected to enrol online before their arrival in Durham and are required to complete module registration by the end of their first week at the University. Undergraduate students who are progressing to the second, third or fourth year of study are expected to complete module registration at the end of their previous academic year (i.e., before the start of the summer vacation), according to the procedures advertised each year. Under the University regulations you are expected to be resident in Durham throughout all three terms, so if you need to leave before the end of the Easter Term then you should complete a Leave of Absence form, available from your college office - please do this well before you plan to leave. It is not strictly necessary to be in Durham to register for Physics modules in June, but we recommend that you do stay in residence until the end of the Easter Term in order to be able to take advantage of the opportunities for discussion of your exam results and your module choices for the following year. Students who fail to register at the correct time are liable to pay an administration charge of £100, may not have access to guidance from their department(s) and may not be able to take their first choice modules.
