I graduated from Durham in July 2010 with a masters in physics, having completed my final year project on the electronic structure of superconducting materials. In October 2010 I joined the CMT group as a PhD student, where my research project is to develop advanced exchange-correlation functionals within density functional theory, contributing to CASTEP.
