I graduated from Durham with a degree in Physics in July 2009, having completed my final year project in the OEM group on the characterisation of electrophosphorescent organic light emitting diodes. In October 2009 I joined the group as a PhD student, where my research project involves the fabrication and optimisation of multilayer solution-processable white light OLEDs.
Outside physics, I play the violin and have participated in a number of ensembles in Durham, principally with the Durham University Hill Orchestra where I have served on the executive committee.
