Safety manual

This document contains a description of the Department's specific policies on Health and Safety.  These policies should be taken as an addition to the policies and Health and Safety standards that are stated in Durham University's policy document and Health and Safety Manual.  Members of the Department of Physics are expected to be aware of the University's Health and Safety policies.  They must also be aware of how these policies are implemented within the Department, and they must be familiar with additional Health and Safety policies which are related to the Department's activities.
