The Oriental Museum houses a small but varied collection of Korean objects dating from the Koryo (935-1392 CE) and Choson (1392-1910 CE) dynasties. Notable objects in the collection include fine celadon type glazed stonewares of the Koryo dynasty, some undecorated and others featuring incised, underglaze sanggam decoration.
As well as ceramics, the Korean collection features bronze mirrors of the Koryo period, musical instruments, textiles and costume, gaming pieces, coins, weapons, furniture and prints.
