Durham's recent sporting successes

Durham University’s senior rowing coach has been awarded a nationally recognised honour. Emma Hall-Craggs had already been given the regional award as Senior Coach of the Year for rowing, but has now been named as the ARA Senior Coach of the Year. Her hard work and perseverance with athletes this year has brought great results. The women’s fencers had a magnificent run recently at the individual BUSA championships. Claire Bennett won individual gold in the Foil and Jenna Ashton won individual gold in the Sabra. Durham has tow of the best three University women’s fencers in the country.
