Howlands Farm – Park and ride

As you will all soon be aware, Durham County Council will be launching their Park and Ride Schemes for Durham City from 3 December 2005. I am pleased to confirm that arrangements are now being made for the park and ride service to Howlands to use the existing bus stops next to the New Inn (opposite the University Science Site) on the A177 South Road. Hopefully this will prove beneficial for staff and students wishing to access the science site. The County Council are aware that the current literature will not reflect this change and have therefore asked me to let you know of the arrangements.
