The latest update of Durham students sporting accolades.
Vicki Beaney (University College) performed outstandingly in the 200m breast stroke final in the British Universities Short Course Championships, storming through the field in the last 50m to win bronze for Durham. Naomi Hoogesteger (St Chad’s College) got gold at the Indoor Rowing Championships in Birmingham, she pulled 7.03.6 for the 2000m test, falling just over 5 seconds short of the World Record for Lightweight Women.
