Student offer their help

Fifty Durham students recently gave up their weekend to promote volunteering work.

They took part in activities organised by Student Community Action (SCA) to mark the recent Made A Difference Day. A spokesperson said: ?Over the course of the day students participated in mural painting, using their creative talent to brighten up unused space around the city.? Students also spent time in the Botanical Gardens helping the head gardener.
