The BUSA Championships have begun with great wins for Durham teams.

In rowing the men’s championship eights gained 2nd place behind Oxford Brookes. The coxless four team won their event taking bronze medal position. The women’s championships also proved fruitful for Durham with the eights defeating all opposition. Whilst the results for the whole regatta are not in, it would appear that Durham’s junior eight finished with the fourth fastest time of the day. Durham’s men’s cricketers have joined Durham ladies in winning their matches and are through to the national indoor finals.
