The Very Rev Dr John F McHugh, STD, LSS, PHL

The University announces with deep regret the death of The Very Rev Dr John McHugh on 2 February 2006. Dr McHugh was appointed as a Lecturer in Theology in 1976 and was promoted to a Senior Lectureship in 1978. He held this post until his retirement in 1988.

A requiem mass will be held at 10.00 am on Tuesday 14 February 2006 at St Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Alnwick. The funeral service will be held at 11.30 am on Wednesday 15 February 2006 at St Peter's Church, Staley Bridge.
