Durham seal expert on TV

The work of a Durham University researcher will feature in a television programme this weekend.

Elements of Dr Sean Twiss’s research into grey seals will be shown on Channel 4’s ‘Atlantic Britain’ on Saturday 25 September at 7.10pm.

The filming took place last autumn when Dr Twiss was undertaking a long-term study of grey seals on the Hebridean Island of North Rona with a colleague from the University of St Andrews, Dr Paddy Pomeroy.

Sean is a member of Durham’s Spatial Ecology Group.
