Success for Boat Club at Henley

Durham University Boat Club Quad have won Women's Henley, beating Henley RC by three lengths.

The women also reached the quarter-final in the VIII's.

Laura Gater reached the semi-final of the single sculls, beaten by the eventual champion and senior Irish international, Walshe of University College Dublin, who broke the course record (into the wind) by 2 1/2 lengths.

The men also won the senior coxed four at Marlow two weeks prior to Henley Royal Regatta.
