Host families needed

The Language Centre is looking for host families to accommodate overseas students studying on short English language based courses at Durham during the summer.

The courses range from 2 weeks to 10 weeks in length. We have both adult students and young learners. We offer a generous weekly payment in return for bed, breakfast and evening meal. A packed lunch is usually required at the weekends. We also require families to engage with our students on a daily basis to enable them to make use of their English and improve their understanding of British culture.
