College runner-up at travel awards

St Aidan's College finished as runner-up in the category of 'Best University Accommodation for Groups' at the annual Group Travel Awards. The awards, which are voted for by readers of Group Travel Organiser magazine, are now into their 8th year.

The BBC's Carol Kirkwood presented the awards during a gala dinner at the London Hilton Hotel.

St Aidan's did exceptionally well as many of the entries were from whole Universities rather than individual colleges.
