Annual Research Dinner

The Society of Fellows with the Research and Economic Development Support Service hosted their Annual Research Dinner to celebrate achievements in research and to promote research excellence.

Held in the Penthouse Suite at Collingwood College on 28 April, guest of honour was Professor Sir Gareth Roberts FRS, President of Wolfson College, Oxford.

Winners of the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Research by Younger Members of Staff for 2003/04 were, Dr Gordon MacLeod, Department of Geography, Dr Simon Ross, Department of Mathematical Sciences and Dr Alison Shell, Department of English Studies who were presented with their award during the evening.
