A. Barbara Patterson, BSc

The University announces with deep regret the death of Barbara Patterson on Thursday 26 February 2004.

Ms Patterson joined the University in 1978 and held a number of secretarial posts in the Registrar’s Department. She became Administrative Secretary in the Department of Psychology in 1996 and was promoted to Departmental Administrator in the Department in 1998.

The funeral will be held at 2.15 pm on Tuesday 2 March 2004 at the Methodist Chapel, Market Place, Ferryhill.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to either Cancer Research UK or the Mara Unit, Bishop Auckland General Hospital, and may be given to the Funeral Director on Tuesday.
