Student Laura has the law on her side

A promising student is being supported by one of the region’s top law firms in her bid to become a professional solicitor.

Laura Tweedy from Boldon is one of four law students receiving an annual £1,500 bursary from Newcastle-based Ward Hadaway. The bursary is open to all students from the north east who apply to read law at Durham University.
