Funding to turn ideas into business

(25 November 2003)

If you have a project of potential commercial interest to a business, you may be eligible for funding from Durham University's Partnership Venture Fund.

As part of its Regional Engagement/Reach-Out strategy, Durham University has secured additional HEROBC funding for the period October 2003 to July 2004 to build on the successful Partnership Venture Fund (PVF) developed under the first phase of the HEROBC programme.

Durham University's Partnership Venture Fund can help you identify potential commercial projects arising from the University's knowledge base, and help bridge the gap between the development of academic ideas, concepts and inventions to the point where they are of potential commercial interest to businesses. For more information please visit the PVF website or contact Amy Herd, Assistant Regional Regeneration Officer on x46092.
