In addition, a number of roads around the edge of Sedgefield will be subject to closures at varying times. These include: A177 Coxhoe to Sedgefield road, from Bishop Middleham crossroads to the A689 roundabout. A689 from roundabout with A177, east past the services (at 2nd roundabout on A177) to the junction with Butterwick Lane (halfway to Wynyard).

YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE A177/A689/A177 ROUTE TO AND FROM STOCKTON TOMORROW

You are advised to use alternative routes to Stockton, eg: A181 from Shincliffe Rose Tree to Wingate, A19 & A66; or A1M to Aycliffe, A167 to Darlington, A1150 to A66, then A66 to Stockton.

The Arriva bus services between the two campuses will not go through Sedgefield. The route will be directed around Sedgefield along the A689 and arrangements have been made to pick up passengers near the A689 roundabout near Sedgefield race course. Passengers should be prepared for delays throughout the day.
