Durham off to great start in University Challenge

Durham students resoundingly saw off their counterparts from Bristol in the first round of the new series of BBC2's University Challenge by 225 points to 70.

Durham were first off the mark and never yielded their lead. Team: Michael Weaver (St Chad's, Politics), Mary Falkner (St John's, Molecular Biol/Biochem), Peter Barraclough (Trevelyan, Archaeol) and Ian Jenkins (Hatfield, Mod Lang).
