Temporary road closures and prohibitions on left and right turns

Durham County Council have informed us of temporary road closures and prohibitions on the A691 Framwellgate Peth to allow construction of a dedicated right-hand turn lane on the northbound carriageway of A691.

The work is due to begin on 29 September and will probably take two weeks to complete. The prohibitions on left and hand turns will be required on Sundays only, anticipated to be 5 and 12 October and 23 November 2003. Throughout the closure alternative routes will be available. See map for details.
