Clearing Hotlines go live

Staff at the University of Durham are all geared up for the rush of applications and enquiries expected following the publication of A-Level results this Thursday (14 August).
Hundreds of students are expected to contact the University once they have received their results for further advice. The ongoing increase in applications received by the University means that the number of vacancies is very small.
Matthew Andrews, Head of Undergraduate Admissions said: “Continued expansion means that we have a small number of vacancies which are based at the University's Queen's Campus, Stockton. Applicants are encouraged to call early to discuss their options with staff who will guide them through the admissions process.”
Special clearing hotlines have been established and will be open from 8am on Thursday 14 August. The numbers are:

Human Sciences 0191 334 0744
Students interested in any of the courses still available at the University of Durham are invited to:
- call the Admissions Office on 0191 334 0048 which is open throughout the year from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
- on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th August the clearing hotlines will be open from 8am and on the weekend of 16th/17th August the lines will also be open from 10am.
