Student helps charity in Tanzania
(4 August 2003)
Geography student Susannah Steele is spending four weeks in Tanzania to take part in a charity building project.
As part of the Transform programme run by Christian Relief and Tearfund, Susannah will be helping to build a new evangelistic centre and work with the community in Iringa, the central district of Tanzania.
The Transform programme enables young Christians from the UK and Ireland to work on projects throughout the developing world, ranging from building classrooms in Malawi to working with Aids orphans in Thailand and installing water pumps in Nicaragua. Reported in Citizen (Bury St Edmunds).
