Church calls in the help of bell ringers

St Brandon’s Church in Brancepeth has called in the help of Durham University Society of Change Ringers (DUSCR) to try and raise £55,000 to restore the bells which were damaged in a blaze in 1998.

The whole structure of the church has already been rebuilt and is now nearing completion.

The Society has rung the bells at St Brandon’s for more than 30 years and it is now appealing to its members and others with an interest in bells to help raise the remaining funds to repair the bells.
