Language Centre contract from Hong Kong

The Language Centre has been awarded a contract from the Hong Kong Institute of Education to run The Bachelor of Education (Language) English Language Immersion Programme for 21 students from September to December 2003.

The programme will involve the teaching of a Pragmatics module, an English Language Teaching Methodology module, various electives, placements in local secondary schools and accommodation with local host families. The total value of the contract is £105,000. This is the third programme awarded to the Language Centre from HKIED in the last year.
