Changes to period of cover for staff and students travelling on University business

Any staff, student and research fellows of the University of Durham will be covered whilst on official University business for any trip undertaken for any time period involving travel both outside the UK and within the UK (previous cover was with a time period of three months). This cover will also include cover for items such as Laptops, provided staff obtain overnight accommodation away from the normal place of residence or the trip involves flying as a passenger where the flight has been booked before commencing the journey.
